Ms. Filiz Kalayci, a lawyer and member of the Executive Committee of the Human Rights Association (IHD), was arrested in Turkey on the basis of an allegation of "aiding illegal organisations". The Observatory and other NGOs call upon the Turkish authorities to put an end to all kinds of harassment against human rights defenders in Turkey.
